Having entered the industry to manage the commercial interest of India’s biggest personal sports brand in 2006, we as a team pride ourselves on having created many firsts in the management of players as brands. A few of them are – attribute matches for players and brands, variable compensation for physical, intellectual property, royalty and equity associations.
While not representing players currently, we advise players and brand owners on these aspects – supported by our 20 man years’ experience of managing players.
Over 80% of the Indian sponsorship market by value, is Cricket. Without experience with cricket – attempting to value, negotiate and consult on sports sponsorships in India is a non-starter. We have over the years worked with the BCCI on bi-lateral cricket, the IPL and have also done work with sponsorship teams at the ICC. These have spanned associations at the International, National, League and Franchise levels.
Sponsorship work across the new interest sports such as Football, Kabaddi and premium sports like Golf are also areas we are equipped to advise on, contract and deliver.
Where we differ from almost every other sports venture in India is our capability, commitment and confidence to offer turnkey delivery from negotiation of rights and benefits to ensuring that these get delivered on event day across any city and venue. In our experience, the best benefits can be marred by a lack of detail in execution.
We work with an in-house team that uses dedicated freelance professionals as dictated by the scope of the project. This we believe ensures that the knowledge deployment is available at a reasonable cost. Money saved is best spent in buying more rights for the brands and leveraging existing ones.
